Automation Triggered when an Outbound Call received ‘Failed’ result

To have a goal triggered for the case when an outbound call from turboDial receives a ‘failed’ status you can create an API Goal in a Campaign Builder sequence and set these values in it:

  • Integration: turboDialCall
  • Call Name: Failed

Please Read: After you add or change an API Goal in your Infusionsoft Campaign Builder you must inform turboDial to look for it by clicking the Reset Disabled Goals button in your turboDial Management Account.

Note that there are many ways a call can fail. This API Goal is triggered when Twilio detects the failure. It usually means the telephone number that was being called is invalid, however in some cases the problem is temporary.
If the failure is detected in the network downstream from Twilio, for example by the far-end carrier, then Twilio/turboDial is not aware of the failure and this goal is not triggered.
